Pricing, Refunds, and Returns Policy

This Pricing and Returns Policy governs the financial transactions processed through the Paraglide Pro White Label Framework (“Platform”), developed and operated by TechManta Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).

Because our Platform functions both as a direct service portal and a white-labeled infrastructure for third-party organizations, this policy outlines the distinct financial rules that apply depending on how you interact with the Platform.

Identify Your Transaction Type:

  • Direct Platform Purchases: Transactions made directly on paraglide.pro for digital services, verification, or technology facilitation.
  • White-Labeled Client Purchases: Transactions made on a customized portal branded and operated by a third-party governing body or association using our software.

1. Direct Platform Purchases (paraglide.pro)

When transacting directly with TechManta Pvt Ltd on the base Paraglide Pro platform, the following pricing and refund terms apply:

1.1 Pricing Structure

The fees charged directly by the Platform are calculated strictly to cover specific digital and operational costs, including but not limited to:

  • Verification Fees: Costs billed to us by third-party cloud and communication providers (e.g., Google, Twilio) for SMS OTPs, email verification, and identity validation.
  • Infrastructure & Data Retention: Fees for securely maintaining your digital records, cloud backups, database management, and platform maintenance.
  • Technology Convenience Fees: Nominal fees charged for the use of our software infrastructure and API gateways when interacting with third-party services.

1.2 Refund & Cancellation Policy (Direct Purchases)

Due to the immediate consumption of digital resources and third-party billing structures, our direct refund policy is strictly limited:

  • Verification & Cloud Fees: Strictly Non-Refundable. Once an OTP is triggered or an account is provisioned, the digital service is considered consumed.
  • Platform Subscriptions: Any direct recurring maintenance or data retention fees may be canceled at any time to prevent future billing, but we do not offer prorated refunds for partially used months.

2. Comprehensive Disclaimer on Insurance Facilitation (IRDAI Compliance)

Non-Intermediary Status: TechManta Pvt Ltd (paraglide.pro) is strictly a software-as-a-service (SaaS) and technology infrastructure provider. We explicitly declare that we are NOT an "Insurance Broker," "Corporate Agent," "Insurance Marketing Firm (IMF)," or any other form of "Insurance Intermediary" as defined under the Insurance Act, 1938, or any regulations prescribed by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI).

Not an Insurance Web Aggregator: Furthermore, paraglide.pro does not operate as an "Insurance Web Aggregator" under the IRDAI (Insurance Web Aggregators) Regulations, 2017. We do not maintain a lead generation system, we do not compile or rank insurance products across multiple insurers for price comparison, nor do we provide a digital interface designed to influence or manipulate a user's choice of insurance products. The display of any third-party insurance product links on our platform is static, informational, and provided strictly on an "as-is" basis for the logistical convenience of adventure sports athletes and event organizers.

No Solicitation or Advice: The integration of insurance purchasing capabilities within the paraglide.pro framework is implemented purely as a passive internet redirect and API pass-through. We do not engage in the "solicitation" of insurance products—meaning we do not approach, advise, induce, or attempt to convince any prospect to purchase an insurance policy. We do not perform risk assessments, underwriting, or claim processing. When a user chooses to purchase an insurance product, they are technologically routed away from our platform and directly into the licensed third-party insurance provider's ecosystem.

Zero Commission, Royalty, or Remuneration: In strict adherence to IRDAI guidelines regarding the remuneration of intermediaries, TechManta Pvt Ltd unconditionally affirms that it does NOT earn, request, or receive any commission, brokerage fee, royalty, kickback, or profit-sharing incentive from any insurance underwriter, broker, or agent derived from the sale of insurance policies. Any "convenience fee" charged by paraglide.pro is strictly utilized to cover our own cloud computing, API verifications, and server maintenance costs, and is entirely decoupled from the actual insurance premium.

Exclusive Contractual Relationship & Zero Liability: Because we have absolutely no participation in the creation, underwriting, sale, or execution of insurance products, the contract of insurance exists solely and exclusively between you (the End-User) and the respective IRDAI-licensed insurance company or authorized broker. TechManta Pvt Ltd assumes absolute zero liability for policy issuance failures, claim rejections, coverage disputes, payout delays, or the refund of insurance premiums. Any grievance, cancellation request, or refund inquiry regarding an insurance product must be directed exclusively to the grievance redressal officer of the respective insurance provider. Short-term adventure sports insurance is generally Non-Refundable post-issuance as per the underwriter's policies.

3. White-Labeled Client Purchases (B2B2C)

If you are an End-User making a purchase (e.g., membership dues, event tickets, licenses) on a portal that is powered by Paraglide Pro but branded and operated by a specific Client (e.g., a Sports Association or Governing Body):

In a white-label arrangement, TechManta Pvt Ltd provides only the underlying software and payment gateway integration. We do not determine the prices, collect the ultimate revenue, or mandate the refund policies for these transactions.

All pricing, refund rules, cancellations, and financial disputes are solely between you (the End-User) and the Organization (the Client) operating the white-labeled platform. TechManta Pvt Ltd will automatically reject any refund requests from End-Users regarding Client-managed transactions and redirect them to the respective Organization.

4. B2B Software Licensing (For Organizations)

For organizations, associations, and governing bodies licensing the Paraglide Pro framework directly from us:

  • Pricing: Setup fees, custom branding costs, and recurring SaaS licensing fees are governed by the bespoke Master Service Agreement (MSA) signed between the Client and TechManta Pvt Ltd.
  • Refunds: Unless explicitly stated otherwise in the MSA, setup fees and white-label branding costs are strictly non-refundable due to the engineering labor involved. Software licensing fees are non-refundable for the active billing cycle.

5. Payment Processing & Security

All financial transactions are processed through authorized, PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways (e.g., Razorpay, Stripe, etc.). TechManta Pvt Ltd does not capture, store, or process raw credit card numbers, UPI PINs, or bank account details on our servers.

In the event of a failed transaction where funds are deducted from your account but the service is not provisioned on the Platform, the payment gateway's automated reconciliation process will typically refund the amount to the original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.

6. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or dispute with your bank or credit card provider for a valid, non-refundable charge:

  • Your access to the Platform (and any associated digital services, data backups, or licenses) will be immediately suspended pending the resolution of the dispute.
  • For white-labeled Client transactions, the chargeback liability falls entirely on the Client (the Organization), and TechManta Pvt Ltd will provide the Client with system logs to contest invalid disputes.
